System Restore Point
System Restore Point can be used to create and name your own restore points at any given time. In case of system instability, it is better to have a restore point before any major actions were taken on your PC system. After that, you can choose a restore point and return your computer to a previous working state.
The Restore Point right now is only working on Windows 2000 and Windows XP that host this function.
Note: You must enable the Windows System Restore function
to utilize System Restore Point.To enable System Restore function in your Windows 2000 or Windows XP:
go to Start | Programs | Accessories | System Tools | System Restore
To view the latest system restore point :
- Click the Advanced button at the main window, and then click the System Restore Point button.
- Click the Reflesh button.
To create a system restore point :
- Click the Advanced button at the main window, and then click the System Restore Point button.
- Click the Create a Restore Point button.
To restore a system restore point :
- Click the Advanced button at the main window, and then click the System Restore Point button.
- Select a restore point.
- Click the Restore button.
